I have just finished another set of illustrations in the Fallon Core Readers series for Oxford Designers & Illustrators entitled the Scarecrow and the Servant. Here are a couple of the finished images I produced…

I’ve already completed the first of a series of short story illustrations for Oxford Designers & Illustrators called the Fallon Core Readers. The first, a somewhat strange tale about a cat discovering the corpse of next door’s pet rabbit. He decides to drag it through his cat-flap to alert his owners but ends up being blamed for killing it instead. The family then wash and blow-dry the rabbit so that they can sneak it back into its hutch and pretend their cat had nothing to do with the death… I said it was odd!

I’m now working on the the next story of a more conventional nature, about a scarecrow that comes to life after a lightning strike. Here are a few line images awaiting approval…
